  • Acrylic glazing on the back of an old painting. ( The hanging wire is mounted on the side of the canvas to avoid harming the old painting.)
  • All 3 paintings are 24 x 33 cm

I imagine that these naughty mice, who caused a lot of trouble even as little ones, have fled the original universe of the book and ended up in a more urban environment. Heartwarmingly, they seem to stay together anyway.

The Forgotten Fables

Exposed against the aged linen cloth, the portrayed animals emerges as individual characters. Who is the viewer – you or them? The Forgotten Fables is a representational and narrative art serie of that explores identity, and our relationship with animals and nature. By carefully painting the animals on the back of reused canvases, the old painting has a chance to continue its journey into the future alongside the new one.

Will only be sold together to a loving home.
